April 18, 2008 - Phoenix, and Fantasy Art Update.

Finally a new sculpture has been added to the gallery! Phoenix, was a commission and is not for sale. Its approximately 6x6 inches in size. I think it came out well, and I'm pleased to update the website with something new. Truthfully I have been pouring most of my creativity in the virtual world called second life where I am designing digital content. So updates on the site will likely be few. But at least you know what I've been up to!

September 5, 2007 - Autumnal Roan

I present Autumnal Roan. Ive been in such a seasonal autumn mood, brining in the butternut squash from the garden, the leaves changing color and slowly falling from the trees. Very chilly and crisp mornings.... we are starting to have to close the windows almost all the way at night. Getting down into the high 40s and mid 50's. All in all I'm just very much looking forward to enjoying the fall, its always been my favorite time of the year. I'm already itching for some pumpkin pie! So all that inspiration has leaked out into this mixed medium painting. Its mainly watercolor but it also has black ink, colored pencil and some acrylic highlights.

Original available and prints available of this painting :)

August 9, 2007 - Website Update! and now offering Prints!

The website has received an update and a few new features have been added. One of the changes has to do with prints. Yes, finally I have prints again! They are all 8 ½ x 11 inches on acid free paper. I also have a bunch of great original art—paintings and sculptures—looking for a good home.

It's now easier to search for an to order originals and prints. You can use the menu to the left to look at all of the original pieces and prints that are available. They're also featured at random here on the front page. To buy simply click on the thumbnail image then choose to purchase either the original or the print. Enter your e-mail address and send me your shipping details (postal code and/or country) and I will get back to you quickly with the total and payment options.

Please join the mailing list if you'd like to receive updates when I release new pieces. Thanks!

July 15, 2007 - Back from ConnectiCon!

Hello to any visitors that have come my way from ConnectiCon and to those from other places over the web. Well it's all over, ConnectiCon was a blast! it was my first convention ever and I don't think there would have been a better place to break me into the Con world! I want to thank those who purchased artwork from me as well as thank all those who stopped to check out my table and complemented me on my work, that was by far the greatest thing and I am very much inspired to come out with some more original stuff.

I have many prints left over, as well as post cards and buttons. I plan to get more prints and implement a website feature to show whats available. In the mean time, if you see a piece of art you might like as a print, please contact me via my contact form and tell me the name of the painting and I'll get back to you and work something out! Also be sure to check out my cafepress store for more merchandise with my art on it from cards, stickers, magnets, shirts, tote bags, mugs you name it!

I am also available for commissions be it sculpture or painting, so please feel free to inquire via my contact form, check out my Art Info page for details. Also I plan to add a page showing pictures of my time at ConnectiCon so check back for that as well and get on the mailing list for updates!

You can also have a look at mt originals page to see what I still have available for sale. Three new gryphon sculptures soon to show up on the site.

July 13, 2007 - ConnectiCon

At ConnectiCon this weekend...July 13-15. Its been very exciting thus far! My first Con.. plenty of interesting costumes and nice people. Maybe ill see you there! Have some nice sculptures and older originals and some merchandise, some of which will probably be offered on this site of not sold, so check back soon!

May 21, 2007 - Blue Sapphire

Hello,

Its been a while since I made an update, been busy busy at home! I have another commission that I have come out with, I think it looks pretty good, another favorite of mine thats for sure! Its a blue gryphon which I have named Blue Sapphire. In other news I did hear back from Connecticon, I'm not sure where Ill be seated yet, I'm waiting to hear back from them on that. But I'm glad I at least got some confirmation!

April 14, 2007 - RainbowGryph!

Well the ConnectiCon money went though! They took it out of our bank account so I assume that means all is in order! Ive not gotten an email or a receipt yet, which seems strange.. and I hope I do get one. I have a new piece of artwork to share, its a commission that I have been working on of an adorable white gryphon with wings of rainbow colors! It came out really well! Ill be working on allot of original artwork to bring to the Con, so expect to see more new paintings and sculptures to appear on the website!

March 28, 2007 - ConnectiCon

My hubby and I sent in our registration and a check to attend ConnectiCon! I want to say its official, but I guess I dont know unless they email or snail mail me a receipt for payment. Hopefully all the slots aren't filled and we do get in with what we wanted. My hubby (art planager) and I opted for a full table which are 6'L x 2.5'W. We also had to pay for two member passes which lasts three days and gets us two chairs. The event takes place July 13-15, 2007 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. So I have plenty of time to prepare! I figure Ill do a bunch of sculptures and save them for the Con, Ill probably do a bunch of smaller 8x10 and 9x12 paintings of different subjects and bring along some merchandise that Ill probably order at base price from cafepress and mark up myself at the Con. I'm so excited it should be lots of fun! My very first Convention!

March 24, 2007 - Great Red

New painting! Not the oil one I've been talking about, that piece is on the back burner for now. Instead I have a mixed medium painting to share. This painting is 9x12 inches on watercolor paper done in mixed medium. Its mostly watercolor, but there is also colored pencil, black ink and acrylic in there. I think I came out pretty decent. You can find this piece in my Cafepress store and the original Here on eBay I've submitted it to EMG but It will probably be a while until it goes through.

March 6, 2007 - Art Update

Well, I have been working on a new oil painting thats pretty large, 24x36 inches, pretty big.. the larger the more imposing it is, which adds to the awesomeness factor hehe. I have been posting progress pictures of it on my livejournal Here. Its coming along well, closer to being finished bit by bit!

I have many pieces of artwork for sale on my website under Originals. I have some anthropomorphic illustrations, equine paintings, even sculptures and fairies! If you are interested in any of them please let me know by contacting me though my contact form. Prices are negotiable.

Winged Tobiano is now available though Ellen Million Graphics and Cafepress.com as well as a number of other pieces of my best works!

I still havent heard much more about registration for ConnectiCon 2007. I was told via the forum on their website by an admin that the registration information would be released March first. I dont know why they havent yet, but Ill keep checking for updates.

February 23, 2007 - Winged Tobiano

New painting! This is Winged Tobiano. Based of a paint or pinto horse, done up as a pegasus of course! Its mixed medium, watercolor, colored pencil, black ink and metallic gold acrylic on the border (yes it shines in the light!) Its 9x12 inches on watercolor paper. eBay Auction here!! and on Cafepress here! Pending on EMG.

Cloud Prancer and Spirit ended with no bids and are now available for purchase on my website. My latest sculpture Minigryph also ended with no bids and is available on my website. Contact me if you are interesting in any of these pieces. In fact I have a number of original peices of art on my website now, so check out my Originals Gallery

eBay isnt being very good to me lately. I was surprised that Minigryph never went, my sculptures usually always sell.

Off Topic, any of you like 80s music of all kinds? I found this great station called Club977.com great music! its free so tune in if you like good 80s stuff!

February 15, 2007 - Minigryph

I finished my little mini sculpture and listed it on ebay. I've decided to simply name it minigryph lol... I'm not feeling very name creative right now. It measures roughly 4 inches long by 2 inches tall. Made with super sculpey and wire support. Painted in acrylic paints. I used a blue glass eye for this one. eBay Auction Here! started at a low price.

February 10, 2007 - Cloud Prancer

I have a new equine painting available called Cloud Prancer. So many equine pieces to the series were created but no unicorns that are traditionally white! So I decided to add a traditional unicorn to the collection. I plan to do more in the series, my next being a paint Pegasus. I'm eager to get started on that one. Anyway Cloud Prancer is available on eBay HERE. You can also find Cloud Prancer in my Cafepress Store! I have submitted it to EMG as well but its not yet available.

Speaking of EMG (Ellen Million Graphics) I have added more art to my gift shop there. All new pieces in the gallery will show you if its available on EMG by displaying a link to it, this works the same for any paintings available through Cafepress. Please Click Here to see what paintings are online at EMG.

I have also relisted Spirit on eBay as well for anyone interested.

January 23, 2007 - Long-eared Jerboa fairies!

Jerboa and Bug Friend - Longeared Jerboa Fairy

I managed to get the two ACEO's done and listed on ebay! Jerboas are small jumping rodents that resemble mice with long tufted tails and very long hind legs. The long-eared jerboa can be distinguished from other jerboas by its enormous ears, which are about a third larger than its head. Very little is known about this species. Other jerboas are primarily nocturnal, spending the hours of daylight in underground burrows, which they dig themselves. The species is thought to be declining as a result of human disturbance of its habitat.

EDGE (Evolutionarily Distinct & Globally Endangered) is campaigning to save these little guys. EDGE aims to determine the status of the long-eared jerboa in Mongolia and produce recommendations to inform future management of the species and to determine the range, population trends, and the impact of threats on this poorly known species, in order to produce a management plan outlining the steps required to ensure long-term viability of the species. The profit that I earn from selling these ACEO's (besides shipping cost) will go directly to EDGE as a donation for the cute little critters!

So if you like the paintings and want to help out bid on one of my ACEO's! They are watercolor and colored pencil on watercolor paper. 2.5x3.5 inches.

"Longeared Jerboa Fairy" eBay auction HERE! - "Jerboa and Bug Friend" eBay auction found Here!

January 17, 2007 - Feathered Panthera

Hello everyone! I have a new sculpture to introduce. Meet Feathered Panthera! I took a large part of my day trying to get good pictures of it. It seemed everywhere I went with the camera, inside or outside was to dark or to bright. So frustrating! When my hubby got home from work he gave me a hand and we set up the tripod trying to take pictures of the sculpture on different backgrounds. Eventually I settled on a condition I liked. I still feel however, that the image doesn't do the piece proper justice. It somehow looks different when viewing it in real life to me *shrugs* But here it is! This piece measures roughly seven inches long by four high. This is the first winged tiger sculpture I have ever made!

I eventually plan to do more similar to this sculpture with other real life creatures. I'm not sure when though, I dont have a schedule or anything. I just go with the flow when it comes to artwork and do what I like. Anyway, for anyone interested I have listed Feathered Panthera on eBay at a reasonable starting price. View the Auction Here!

In other news, the website has once again been updated! I kept to the theme I made last time, with the hawk, but I've added another little feature which is a corner picture that randomly changes each time to you click a link on the page or refresh! try it, its fun!

Im also doing some research into ConnectiCon for this July 13-15, 2007 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. I'm waiting on more information about possibly setting up a stand or booth there to show and sell some of my original art. Check back here for updates on that.

September 18, 2006 - Halloween Harvest

Click here for the new Ebay Auction Here! I’ve made a cute little Halloween inspired fantasy sculpture, its a little green dragon holding a pumpkin. It also comes with a small accessory in the form of a candy bag fashioned after a jack-o-lantern! I especially love the candy bag lol. I love this piece it's so cute! The flash from the camera has made the colors a bit washed out, but they are much more vibrant in person. The dragon itself looks darker green in person as well. The size of the dragon is approx: 2.5x5.5 inches and the candy bag is an inch and a half tall.

September 11, 2006 - Buckskin Beauty

New Ebay Auction Here! This unicorn was inspired by a buckskin horse that I saw. I loved the coloration so I used it in my latest unicorn painting. I hope you like it!
